We have done away with Repack Breaks, the old way.......
We have fixed every mistake we could see, and we have double deadbolted the doors by designing a break format that cannot be cheated, cannot be scammed or skimmed. Everything that the seller knows, the buyer knows. We have leveled the playing field to make this fair and fun. Like it always should have been!

Repack Non-negotiable Rules
-
Buyers always informed of the starting total box count per case and current remaining box count.
- Buyers know every single card in the break prior to anything being sold.
- Buyers are informed the exact condition of any raw card.
- Buyers have access to direct comps all in one place for the entire case, every break.
- Floor, Average, and Ceiling are available upon request; however, everyone will have access to individual prices of each card at any time on the website. This is made accessible up to a week prior to day 1 of that case break.
- Buying format at the start of the break will remain until all boxes for that case are gone. (if it breaks starts with $1 start auctions it will remain that way until the case is sold out).
- No shill bidding.
- Rookie Card Monster employees cannot buy into any break or join and giveaway.
- Personal friends of the current breaker cannot buy into a break until someone else is breaker.
- Treat other with respect.
- Go Birds!
- Fun must be had by all at any cost!!!!!

Break Setup
- All cards from the active repack case are open and visible on screen.
- All cards are listed on rookiemonster.com with high-res photos for condition, with notes for visible blemishes (if any).
- All cards will be comped on rookiemonster.com under the corresponding break #.
- Cards will be visible on stream at all times until they are hit.
- Break checklist will be updated on rookiemonster.com as cards get hit.

Break Format
- Because cards are visible the entire break the boxes will contain "Instant Redemption" cards. The instant redemption card will correspond to one of the remaining cards left in the repack.
- The instant redemption cards will be shuffled on screen prior to any spots being sold and then place one a time face down into a box(envelope). This will be down live on stream. All will have the same view the breaker has. Once all redemptions have been placed, the boxes(envelopes) will be shuffled on screen to properly and randomly scramble all redemption cards. Also, if the entire case does not sell in a given day and the stream is ending, ALL unopened "Instant Redemption" cards will be opened live on stream and revealed to the stream. So, at the start and end of every stream the "Instant Redemption" cards are placed and then removed on stream for all to see!
- Spots will be sold by one of the following (Total available spots),
- Conference (2 spots)
- Directional (4 spots)
- Divisional (8 Spots)
- 1/2 Divisional (16 spots)
- Team (32 spots)
- The more spots sold the cheaper the break, but the less your chances of hitting. Cheaper=Worst odds, More Expensive=Better Odds.
- We use HOGO format. Hit One Get One. One of two different devices will be used to decide the HOGO winner(s).
- 1st-WhatNot's approved team spinning wheel. Wheel will be shuffled and spun. Whoever purchased the team the wheel lands on will win the HOGO and get to choose a repack box. If it is a multiple box break the wheel will be shuffled and then spun the number of times for boxes in the break. (Single teams CAN hit multiple cards). From time to time we also switch to last division standing format. We spin the wheel and whatever division it lands on is eliminated. We continue spinning eliminating divisions until one remains. Last division standing is the winner! For multiple box breaks, we restart the wheel and repeat the process above. We do this for as many boxes are in the break.
- 2nd- From time to time we will use a sealed pack of cards from a Panini or Topps product. The Second card in the pack is the HOGO Winner. This eliminates the possibility of being able to see the first or last card of the pack.
- If a Mult-box break center cards will be used from the same pack. Front and back card can NEVER be used for HOGO. IF need be, another pack will be opened to decide the remaining HOGO winners.
Please note that we are RC Monster are not perfect. If there is some glaring flaw in our breaking strategy, please let us know! We would love to discuss and have a format that everyone feels comfortable, safe, and has the most amount of fun while get the most amount of value.
